Do you have lots of pictures and want ultra fast and ultra small application to browse them with? I have created application HakView for exactly this purpose.
You can open pictures one by one or open whole folder and browse all pictures using arrow keys to previous and next image.
You can zoom images to full window and also display them in full screen. You can center them on screen. You can also display list of all images in the folder so you can see which image is currently displayed or browse them and open another image in the list.
This is my first application and I will be exited to code more and more functionality so please email me what functionality would you like to implement first.
How to use:
Open HakView and use File-Open menu to select folder with pictures. Then simply use left and right arrow keys to move to previous/next image in that folder. Use "f" key to zoom small images to full window. Use fullscreen button to go to fullscreen and back. Use "c" key to center image (if you moved it away from center). Use "l" key to display list of images with current one highlighted you can browse through the list of images and select another image to open it. Use can delete currently viewed image using "Delete" or "Backspace" keys.
How to open a picture outside of application:
- You can associate pictures with HakView and then simply double click on the picture to display it.
- You can right click on a picture and select "open with" and select HakView.
- You can drag a picture and drop it to HakView app icon.
- If you already have a picture open by HakView, you can view all of other pictures from the same folder by pressing CMD+O to open file dialog followed by pressing enter. This will quickly open all pictures in the same folder.
- You can also open more pictures by simply dragging them and dropping to HakView application icon.
